  1. Oh my goodness – so many inspirational moments in this video – thank you so much! I love London and truly enjoyed seeing all of your vintage finds and how you will incorporate them into your art and life. Can't wait to see what you are inspired to make from your mudlarking finds and I am now so inspired to do a bit of my own mudlarking! And love, love the idea of building palettes from those finds. I am certain that I'll watch this again because there were so many projects that I felt inspired to do on my own.

  2. Great video and you made some great finds on your trip. Love seeing those old books and sketch books (that old ledger is amazing)….can see how inspiring they are

  3. Hi, Nikki. I loved this video. I too love finding old things, although I’ve never been lucky enough to go mudmarking. Seeing your things I am reminded that there is much terra-cotta and tile from the Roman Period to be found in England, and also there are huge chalk lines that probably produced chalk rocks. How exciting to search in a country as ancient! Perhaps our problem is that we don’t really know what to search for in our own land. (Might that round rusty item have been a button?)

  4. Love the handwriting pages the most. It’s so beautiful. And I loved seeing everything else you brought back from England. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  5. Loved this video and seeing all the wonderful objects you found! What inspiration. I dearly love old books and have many, and after seeing your sketchbooks, I think I may have to make some of my old ones into sketchbooks for myself—what a great way to use them and to provide a little of myself or for family later on. Thank you so much for showing your treasures and what you might do with them!

  6. This store is so beautiful! You found some awesome treasure for sure! Hope to see a swatch video of your beautiful watercolors set! 😁❤🤞🖌🎨

  7. Looks like you had a great trip, I live in Bristol UK, and my old school is listed in your school register!! The March entry, and it was Merrywood. And the mudlarking finds are amazing, there used to be a tv show about this, called The Mud Men.

  8. Thanks for sharing all your finds! Mudlarking sounds like fun. You could use some of the finds as markmaking tools!
