Edible Gardening

1/3 Acre Self-Sustaining Organic Farm | PARAGRAPHIC

What started as a mission to find better chicken feed, has blossomed into a complete lifestyle transformation!

Scott and Ashley were so kind and welcoming, we loved every second on their homestead. I originally reached out to Scott over a year ago just to learn more about his organic feed business and thought egg-laying chickens would be interesting information to cover. Little did I know how much they actually had packed on to their land. Chickens, rabbits, compost, trees, gardens, worms, and more were around every corner. It’s projects like these that continue to remind me how much we’re all connected to one another.

  1. Great video. Scott and Ashley both spoke about creation and how wonderful it is. Ashley mentioned this is the life we are intended to live. I agree. Just a word of caution to everyone who is passionate about creation; its beauty, diversity, healing qualities…… Be careful not to worship that creation, but worship the Creator and give Him the glory He deserves for blessing us with His creation. There is one God in heaven who created that which we enjoy everyday.

  2. Your farm is designed to look just the right size, so cute. I like your garden and plants and cute chickens. I like to eat chicken eggs, but I don't like to eat chicken meat. I like the beautiful space of your house. It looks very beautiful and romantic. Your home is a beautiful natural supermarket.

  3. She can cook the bitter melon in omelette. Taste really good. Google in Fililipino channels 🙂 just saute garlic, onion, tomato, and sliced bitter mellon. In a separate cup add a pinch of salt in scrambled egg. Add the egg in the sauteed vegetables. Optional: add cooked meat.

  4. While lovely, this type of farming is actually incredibly bad for the environment. We would need to use far more land than we currently do to properly feed ourselves.

  5. Shalom my friend

We are a family who follows Our King Yeshua and His Word and in Leviticus 11 it tells us what is food ( pig rabbit etc is not food in Gods eyes )

Most people have a carnal mind when reading the New Testament and read their own interpretations into it and come out with a wrong view on Gods plan….

I pray this finds you well
