  1. I have spent the day covering my brassicas and still not done. Plus go get bedding for the animals. Stay warm and enjoy that beautiful fireplace!

  2. Kaye you'll get it everything done.Im gonna stock up on Gas to for the Gas generators. So I can use either the gas generator solar.Time to get ready for a long cold hard winter i believe.Anyway your looking so beautiful so sweet yummy yummy.πŸ’‹β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯πŸ’žπŸŒΉ

  3. Kaye, it looks like you're on my schedule. Expecting the first freeze here in Maryland. Please be careful of those wet, slippery leaves. I once missed a step which was buried under leaves and broke a bone in my foot. I know, I sound like my uncle who told me to stop riding horses because it was dangerous. To which I replied, I'll just stop falling off. 😊 Peace and Blessings to all!πŸŒ»πŸŽƒπŸ‚

  4. Can't wait for the cold front to reach me in Florida maybe only a high of 70 it's hard doing Garden work when it's 85 or 95 in the Sun

  5. That was kinda cool seeing the lemongrass I sent you. It did great! Happy winter. Here in SC we will be getting our freeze tomorrow night. Angie

  6. My list is long too. Lol…You inspire me. God helped me get a lot done today and yesterday. Hard freeze tonight

  7. Wow – such abundance this year from your property! I hope you show us what you do with all your peppers and tomatoes. I love how you save your plants from the weather – your garage is perfect for them. I hope your other ones make it (the ones you promised ). Even though it’s such hard work, doesn’t it feel good at the end of the day when you come inside and realize what you accomplished? I’m in my mid sixties, and really look forward to the quiet and rest of the winter, after all the work of the other 3 seasons.

  8. Brrr!!! You did look cold! Good job! You managed to get a lot done!πŸ˜˜β€πŸ™πŸ»βœ¨

  9. Make sure you put Stabil in your gas. It will help keep your gas good. Glad to see the example of the heavy plastic silage tarp. Ohhh boy, it looks heavy!!!! NICE that you have your garage to store your plants!!! You are amazing and a very hard worker. I have the same amount of leaves and I was going to wait until Friday when it is warmer and we got 2" of snow last night. I'm going to have a mess in the spring.

  10. I have to laugh at you .. as I am laughing myself … trying to grow enough food for a family of 6, all the while we are living alone, and rushing about to keep up with everything at our age like we were in our 30"s. But let's keep moving!

  11. I've told you before with no avail but I do worry about you trying to do all that stuff by yourself!!! Take care, be safe and stay well!!!!!

  12. Kaye – Try 'White Tomesol'. IMO it's superior to White Beauty. The best tomato I've had of my Life was a White Tomesol. You might not have that every year in every tomato but even if not, they're delicious. Prolific. Baker Creek has it. LOL at their description.

I just pulled all my peppers too. Amazing year
