We live in a 5b/6a region and just cleared the overgrowth in the greenhouse (about 100′ x 25′ of area). It still needs some work to be operational though (plastic tarp, etc.).
What are some ideas for plants as a first timer? We initially though of tulips in the spring.
There is a ventilation system that could be brought back up to speed with a little work.
Thoughts?

this thing is going to be a money pit. been there done that with units in this condition. youre going to need to check wiring, plumbing, and then get the insulation and everything else back up and running. those fans are probably rusted and you are going to need to set up some sort of heating unit. you probably know most of that already. make sure the arches are structurally sound, i have seen these built where the bases are basically rusted through where they bolt into the uprights. add some diagonal reinforcing cables to help with diagonal load. the PT lumber in there might be good, might not depending on age.

    film the journey.
