Hi all. I’ve been doing some vegetable gardening for about a year and decided to add some berries. Asked the guy at the nursery what could get producing soonest and he sent me home with these.

Then I got home, Googled, and realized I needed to make trellises.

So I am at the phase of, uh, training the muscadines to the wire but have no idea what I’m doing. As for the blackberries, I read up on primocanes vs floricanes, but can’t exactly tell what is a cane and what is just an overgrown lateral extension. Regarding the blueberries, like all of their leaves started falling off within a few days of planting. I am hoping this is just transplant shock.

Any basic advice or links to guides would be appreciated. I am in Southeast Bama and highs are currently in the low 80s but colder weather is coming. Cheap home soil analysis showed good K+ and phosphate, equivocal nitrogen, and pH of 6.5. I amended the soil with some fertilizer and elemental sulfur.
