  1. When I saw your beautiful backyard I thought you were in Hawaii. What state r u in again? I know you’re south of Colorado. I love lime plants. I have several but no dracena

  2. How funny, dont feel bad i lose plants all the time and end up rediscovering them sometimes many months later especially if they're smaller plants

  3. Several years ago I was going through an especially long bout of depression and I gave up watering plants in my “ formal” living room. We never use that room, anyway I had a monstera that survived several months of no water at all and no light, it wasn’t anywhere near a window but under a grow light that I turned off. Imagine my surprise when I saw that it was still alive ! I THINK some plants are sturdier than we think. Great save by the way. 🎃🍁🍂💚🙃

  4. I dragged in my banana plant last night and oh my gosh I thought I was going to die! It was dark out and I had forgotten that I put rocks in the pot to help stabilize the plant after I transplanted it. I grabbed the pot and tried lifting it and oh no it wouldn’t budge, then remembered the rocks, I took them out but oh my gosh it was STILL very heavy. I did mange to drag lift drag lift it up the steps but that was a work out. I think it’s going to have to stay on the deck next summer so I don’t have to drag, lift it up the stairs. I had been dreading trying to move it but I didn’t think it would be that hard. Oh well lessons learned. 🎃🍁🍂💚🙃

  5. wasn't there another plant that got left behind in the garage last year or the year before and was, somehow, still alive when you found it? A Sanseveria or something? Is that one still with us?
What is your opinion on the Cordyline Miss Andrea/Chocolate Queen? I haven't seen it in real life so I don't know if I would actually like it or not. I never did redo the front garden bed this year, thankfully I didn't because it was so hot and dry, and I've changed my mind on what to do. Now I'm thinking Cordyline groupings on either side of the window and I don't know if I should get one of the Miss Andrea.

  6. Hi Jeff 👋 😂 Oh Lord be careful not to over do and kill it now. JK That is amazing how it survived and pushed new growth as well. It is a beautiful plant. Take care of yourself.

  7. Hi Jeff, I guess we've all found a plant here or there that was forgotten! Your dracaena looks pretty rough but they are so sturdy, I'll bet she comes back just fine. I've been working on a regular green dracaena this summer, she was in clearance and I thought I heard her calling my name….I didn't need another but like I said, she talked to me. After bringing in my plants and meticulously going thru each one,: cleaning, trimming, giving a good water, cleaning the pots, she has come into her own. I have several kinds of dracaenas and find them easy care. My oldest dracaena fragens is approx 35 years old!

  8. That’s amazing it survived. It’s so cool you have a big garage to keep your tropical plants over winter and enjoy them

  9. I have a dracaena about the same size that goes outside for the summer. I'll find it tipped over ( after a few weeks ) so it has many wonky curves due to it being left laying on the ground and trying to reach up for the sun. Every year I think " do I really want to overwinter this wonky plant"? Yes. Yes I do.😂 I was thinking about maybe trying to wire it straight ( like how you train bonsai). Do you think that would work?

  10. Jeff, as a long time sub, watching every vid and who loves you like a brother and slap me if I hurt you, but why do you have so much STUFF. I'm not talking plants.

  11. Oh gosh Hi Jeff, I do realize that we all find plants that we have forgotten but the great thing is if the plant has survived and is okay, your Dracaena is looking fine and I would just probably cut off the dead leaves and make it look even more pretty and I think that it will continue to do fine. I really love Dracaenas and I have 2 of them and they are doing fine, the one difference is mine are in my house and always have been. Thanks so much for sharing this video and I am excited for your pool to finally be repaired because your area out there is just so lovely looking, so many beautiful plants and flowers and I love all of the color too. Have a great day and restful time, sending love and hugs, bye! 😂😊🥰🤗👋👋🙏💜💜
