Hi! New member to this subreddit. I am located in SE Michigan and prepping for winter. I purchased a 6x4ft greenhouse to put in my tiny backyard. I also purchased a 110v 1.5kW heater (which may be over kill- but I originally purchased the heater for a bigger greenhouse that we were going to build on my parents property, but they changed their minds last minute). I plan to start building tomorrow but I realized I didn’t consider an important factor, the base.
My deck gets the most sun in the backyard, so that’s what I’m working with. My question is, what is the best material to use as a base to not damage the deck and keep the heat from escaping?
I was also curious, will I need to use a humidifier along with the heater in the greenhouse? I also plan to purchase a fan, I am just not sure which yet.
