You’re so incredibly talented. It’s such a joy to watch you arrange flowers. Almost a year in the making since sowing those first seeds, or longer given the planning as you’ve thumbed through seed catalogues.
I have a large ornate framed Victorian oil painting of almost the exact same flower composition as your arrangement, surrounded with grapes, apples, pears and plums at the base. Same colour tones.
Oh man, I would lighten up that fireplace with a watered down paint color. Easy to do & dramatic results.
Lovely arrangements. Can you spray cut flower arrangements with Wilt Stop to prolong vase life? I have used it for pumpkins and evergreen wreaths, but haven't tried it on cut flower arrangements.

Hi there, fruit fly traps are very successful. We use those in our raspberry orchard as well as for our few apple and plum trees, here in northern South Africa. We only refresh them once a year.

I actually like your fireplace, I guess it doesnt come across as orange on camera..youcould always whitewash it a bit or a color wash on it. beautiful arrangements!
Designer comment: I’ve always liked the fireplace in your Great Room, a lot! If it were me, I would just swap out the iron for different iron. You could add the wood you want by removing the rock your arrangements sit on and replace it with wood. Just choose a wood that leans more to the grey tones.
