The kale is spectacular, the pots look just right.
Butternut squash recipe sound delish.
Everything you do is so beautiful! I did hold my breath when you dug the holes so close to the standard hydrangeas.
I think the pots would have looked nice with the orange plant all around under the evergreen.
Love the ornamental kale! Have you ever grown your own from seed?
Morning everyone
Good morning, Laura โ๏ธThank you, Ken for keeping the music to a minimum as Laura planted in real time. Those ๐ฒ are so perfect around the Hartley!๐ Dinner sounds delicious; hopefully youโll enjoy & share. Have a Blessed Day ๐๐
I know you love doing flower arrangements, looking at the artichoke leaves, those would add interest to any arrangement
Oh that recipes sounds so good!!!

Love that kale so much. The formality of this space is so calming, just love itโฃ๏ธ
That recipe sounds delicious please share!!!!
Hi Laura, I hate to comment this on your video given the immense positivity your work shares. Have you ever heard of the police sending codes to enforce a codes violation stating you cannot touch the dirt you live on? As in, you cannot dig a hole to plant a bush. I had my rights violated by the codes officer sent (who illegally obtained evidence) by the police. Acknowledged in court. The Township Manager wrote the violation related to digging a hole for a bush while the codes officer was in another state on vacation two weeks later. I have been landscaping my parents place (catch me on street view 501 Mill Road, 19083) for 8+ years doing this exact work. I was inspired to get dirty in the yard on a daily basis as I had no excuse with your daily uploads. Jack Barnwell pushed me to consider what it means to create a landscape. I've fallen in love with the process. The harassment is related to being given intelligence by a local Sergeant that should not have been shared with me. It just seems very excessive given our DA's office is overseeing the illegal behavior. Local landscapers and nurseries are amazed so I am asking around. I hope the family is well! Thank you for all you do
I think the trees look better without the additional plants. The one by the chicken coop looks much cleaner, imo.
The kale or cabbage looks really good in the ground planted in a group. I am normally not a fan but I like this use! โค
Iโve fixed something similar only with acorn squashโฆdelicious! Looking forward to trying it with butternut squash. ๐
A cup of coffee and a garden answers video. What a fabulous way to start a day.โค Have you thought about doing an in depth video of how you prepare for your huge Christmas light displays? I enjoy those videos so much. I'd love to see some of the hard work that goes into it.
The four quadrants with the ornamental kale are absolutely gorgeous!๐Do you know how much joy you bring me every morning that you post a new video? Just thought I would let you know.๐ฅฐ
Very pretty โค๏ธ
Gardenanswers, Morning Sweet Laura. The plants look great where you planted them.Sending my love and God's blessings.Wanda In Ok
LOVE: the kale in the ground not in a pot idea, the trees in the pots idea instead of the kale, BUT why not leave them there permanently instead of repotting them, as they really look good? Why are so many of your plans only temporary not permanent, as you are just making more work for yourselves? I really don't like the underpotting trio, as they clash/jar. Personally, I would use heucheras instead of kale, even if only temporarily. In fact, why not just sink a pot plant in the ground is you are only using them temporarily? It makes them easier to move when replanting.
Good morning Laura ๐บ . These kale look so pretty in these beds also the containers . Have anice day .๐บ๐ป๐บ
Love it !
Good morning everyone! Love the Christmas trees, the pansies are so sweet, beautiful!
Your dinner sounds yummy! Blessings ๐๐ค๐
The kale really sets it off in the areas you planted them.
Seeing laura lifted the pine…my back already screaming…where her got the energy?
Omg these plantings look soooo good! Ornamental kale is starting to grow on me, especially after seeing it in the middle of the boxwoods. Just perfect! I also love the Norway spruces in the planters. What a good idea to put them in a planter and then put them out in the garden in the Springtime!
Looks so good!๐
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Hartley area beds!! The classic uniform beds are fabulous!!! โค
Aren't you worried about damaging the roots of the trees when planting all the kale around it?
Love the flower pots around the Harley I love seeing your garden looks beautiful you inspire me to go outside and plant God bless๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐บ๐บ๐๐๐
Beautiful as usual, I'm on my way to work (7:30 est) and you made me hungry with your dinner plan.
Good morning Laura! Supper sounds yummy! Love the kale with the box woods. Hugs from N.C..โค
Good morning! Those planters look so sweet. I love the idea of the evergreen. I have a planter I may have to see if I can find a small tree for that. And the kale looks so pretty. That recipe sounds so good, let us know and if so, share please.
Yes for the recipe please I have a ton of Butternut squash to eat.
It DOES take butternut squash a while to bake. But it is definitely my favorite. Sometimes we just stick some frozen peas in them with butter at the end of cooking. Looks so pretty. Not too fancy, but itโs tasty and the kids like it. So easy and colorful.
What material are your pots made of? I am looking for something that won't crack over winter like that.
Good morning from Northern Vermont!

I just love the kale in those beds โค
Just one of the things I love about your gardening style itโs always neat and tidy.
Love it perfect
So beautiful absolutely gorgeous โค
๐น๐ง๐ท
It all turned out beautiful, I love the Evergreens that you put in the pots. You can always plant them in the ground after winter. The kale is also so colorful. Very nice.
Just gorgeous combinations! Itโs like you know what youโre doing or something. ๐ ?? QUESTION ?? The people before us, for some reason, ran the outdoor water through the water softener (๐คจ). Is that okay for the plants and grass? Or should we just bypass the outdoor water through the softener? And if so, why? Just curious. Thanks in advance! Yโall are awesome and I value your opinion. ๐ซถ๐ป
Love you're gardening videos x
Nicely done Laura ๐
Loved the special effect where there were two of you. You get so much done in a day, it's like there are two of you. You inspire me. โค
Oh I love those trees by the Hartley. They are PERFECT
