  1. Rats can jump a decent distance my little sister has a pet one and it jumps from the floor to the couch seats easily enough further I'm sure if he tries hard enough

  2. ❤❤ your video. I’m going to start getting some containers soon and start growing thanks you both ❤ 👍🙏🙏🙏

  3. Hey Brother Danny and Wanda it's good seeing you all again! My Husband and I have been very busy planting our seeds and doing other chores around the house. When we started our garden 4 yrs. ago , we planted all of our plants in containers and we loved it. Everything grew in abundance! We also put different trays under our containers which kept our soil wet even when it rain. Therefore, we didn't use a lot of water. We didn't want to dig up the yard because it's to much work for us at our age. My Husband is 80 and I'm 75 yrs. old and using containers if just fine for us. Well take care and God Bless. 🙏❤️❤️🙏

  4. Hi Danny & Wanda, I will keep Hoss Tools Savannah Sweets in mind from Hoss Tools.
    No more Thrasher bird.
So far I have only done Danver Carrots in containers but very open to other kinds to plant too.
Very glad you found a hay baler and hope can find what you need for the threads soon.
It's good you know how to do work on things to get them in working order. Makes a big difference
    to have the know how.
Hope you got some good rain there.
Glad your doing the food plots for the animals and it will safely draw them in.
It's wonderful you have all those trees.
Thanks so much for sharing. I always appreciate seeing your property and what
    your doing.
The Lord has blessed you very much with Pecan Grove and offsets the more
    drought conditions at Deep South.
    Mega blessings to you both.

  5. No drought in Florida. Almost 5 inches in the last 24 hours and a bit more to come. Containers do not need much water at a time, they need watering more often because the dry out quickly. I have feral cats around my place, the did a number on the squirrels, amazing to watch a cat chasing a squirrel through the oak trees. Unfortunately they think freshly planted container pots make perfect litter boxes.

  6. Sweet potatoes are now going in fabric grow bags. Got more for next year. Too much rain split three quarters of them in a raised bed. Soil wouldn't dry up. Hardly watered this year. Glad I go with determinate tomatoes and short season. Squash bugs come late in summer. The more quickly done, the better. Just plant extra.

  7. I have to say – I love your channel and the other gardening/ homesteading channels! Yours are the ones that help keep me grounded when the test of the world is going insane! Thankyou so much!!

  8. My bush yellow cherokee beans did the same this year! Very strange! I dont grow many. The same package I used last year were normal last year. I think they are reaching for more sun. Too much gunk in our atmosphere!??

  9. i bought a pooper scooper to use specifically for harvesting nuts off the ground and fruit from trees

  10. If you love gardening container gardening is not work at all I have grow bags raised bed garden inground garden where can I get nice containers for container gardening

  11. Hello from Canada. It is so interesting to see how you plant winter crops, so different from here! We are just hurrying to do the yard clean up before it gets too cold, then hunker down under the quilt for the season. It used to snow here at the end of October most years, but now it varies and sometimes it doesn’t deep-freeze until the end of December. I think it should be mandatory to build homes here with four-season sunrooms, so we could all practice some container gardening, as we do get some brilliant sunny days with the cold weather. I imagine in the old days, before TV and computers, a lot of art and crafts like embroidery, quilt-making and wood-carving were done during the cold winter months. It is such a pleasure to see your land and what you are doing with it, especially providing a haven for the wildlife.

  12. I started my fall garden 2 weeks ago half by seed and half full plants I bought at a garden store .
My seeds are coming up wonderfully and fast
    Carrots ,lettuce, pea Kale.
I have mine in a small high tunnel.
My tomatoes and peppers are still going strong I decided to add more fertilizer. I thought they would be done by now . January and February are our coldest months in the south.
I did not plant any pole beans or bush beans because they're not in season but I think I'm going to experiment plant them keep them out of the hard Frost when it comes in. It's worth the try.

  14. I have tried to reach you at Crazy Dazes and it has failed. I need to know if I made a mistake by washing the sweet potatoes after I dug them up. I want to can some of them and keep the rest, can you enlighten me. Thanks I enjoy your porch time.

  15. Those bush beans are doing like the tomatoes on a rope and the cherry tomatoes and my CelebrIty tomatoes growing 8’-I want to SPREAD out!

  16. If you want put John Deere corn head grease in that gear box. Works great, especially if it worn enough a kit won't do the job. Done this for over 45 years.

  17. I had to come back and tell you that my carrots sprouts started in less than a week too. It caught me off guard. I was expecting longer. Planted them this Monday and here it is Friday and I have several sprouts showing today.

  18. I love your gardening videos, especially those in container growing. We live in the city and have limited space on our patio to grow things. I got many great ideas and tips from your videos, thank you.

  19. Great Video Danny & Miss Wanda it is always interesting & informative. I learn something new everytime I watch your channel. Can't wait to see what else is coming up. Cheers Denise- Australia

  20. Thank you for considering the wild life. Much respect. Also for the update on the carrots and onions.
