My neighbor, Dog River Farms, does an honor system for his eggs. It's been really successful, and what a treat! Drive down the road a quarter mile and get farm fresh eggs!
so is that shade cloth something that takes alot of time? like if you think the sun will be too bright you can;t go out there and just crank it up or does it take alot of work to do?
how is the business in town you guys bought? Haven't seen how that's coming

Jess, I got my first 3 chickens 3 1/2 months ago….FINALLY. I've always been intimidated about starting a garden. There's just so much to learn. You have inspired me to just do it. I lost both my grandparents years ago and they had amazing gardens. I wish I could've learned from them. With YouTube there's good information available to access…..I love it. I just wanted to let you know. I'm so excited to feed my very large family healthy food. Cyber hug, girl🥰
I've had an honor system roadside stand for 7 years and never had a problem. We make over $400 just on our one persimmon tree every year! It's so fun to load the stand and to check the money box. Every year we get a note or two from different customers. Crazy to think that we sell them 4/$1 and make as much money that we do. Especially since they sell for $1.50 each at the grocery store. A win for everyone.

What are you feeding your chickens? Mine are barely laying at all, tho they had just started up again about 3-4 weeks ago.

Beautiful harvest of eggs.. I love that you are planting this time of year. I live in town. Brought up living on a farm. I so miss those days of having fresh harvest. Having Chickens. At my age and health it isn't feasible for us to move to the county just to have the luxury of farming. I do support our local farmers. so that is a good thing. So watching your video I live throw watching you and your family do all the labor of farming and seeing the awesome harvest's.

So, this is totally off topic – but love the random appearance of the rusted white chair. I keep forgetting to mention it. Hold over from Arkansas – right? I think first appearance in this video is at 2:34. Still there at 18:39. Then gone at 19:50. LOVE it! Swimming in eggs – and milk? You get to eat cake! Or Gordon Ramsey's scrambled eggs.
Do you have frog problems? I have a small garden in an apartment and now I have a frog problem. Do you have and advice?
