#shorts Hello, welcome to “Collie And The Gardener.” Save your flower seeds now, to create a beautiful garden space next spring. I remove the dried seeds on spent flowers and either leave them on a cookie sheet to dry or if they are already dry put them in a brown paper sac to save for next year. This will save you a lot of money in the future, as one flower can create hundreds of seeds. These flowers are yellow and orange cosmos, I am saving seeds from.

If you’re really, really lucky some pollinator will cross pollinate your flowers and you will find a new hybrid growing in your flower bed next year. Not something you will ever get in carefully pollinated commercial seed packets.
