A determinate variety tomato grows to a set height or a predetermined height, typically 4 feet or less. They only need very light pruning and some simple staking. All the flowers, generally, tend to come quickly over a 1-2 week period. You may have 50 plus flowers. The fruit matures over 1-2 week period and then the plant typically dies out.
