Turmeric flowers are rare and delicate. I was so shocked and pleasantly surprised to find one growing on my turmeric plant. The flower just as the rhizomes and leaves are edible and also have medicinal properties. It is absolutely stunning. In many cultures the flower is used as a garnish and in salads.
