Just a quick tip on growing mint. In order to contain it, plant it directly into a container. This way you’ll contain all the runners. 😊

I could leave my carrots in the ground over winter and they still grew. We were in San Diego. There is a tree called the strawberry tree whose fruit taste like a combo of strawberries and bananas that grow So. California. It is looking Gorgeous!
Natal plum beautiful flowers, evergreen and they said the fruit is eatable but I never tried it as it was not in my space.
