Samantha looks like a Powerpuff Girl version of Laura's mom. ❤
This planting high thing is making me nervous! It will be interesting to watch the trees settle in and grow!
All beautiful new plants and trees are added to the vistas, more pretty things will be growing. And how fun for the kiddos to have their very own park to play in everyday!!
Can't get over how much your children have grown! Wow
The new trees are fantastic and will be even more beautiful as they mature.
Another job well done. Very productive video/day. Have a great day guys.
I'm here for it too.❤
wow, those junipers aren't evenn in the ground, will be interesting to see if they live. Love how Benjamin didnt want to get dirty
Great video, always love to see big trees, well they will get big.❤
Planting the trees high is of course fine and sometimes better. Here in the South with heavy clay we have to plant fruit trees like this. And you’re mounding up with compost so it’s technically not high. I don’t understand why anyone would think this will be a problem.
I have a 100 year old glorious white oak in my backyard and the canopy is amazing. Can’t wait to see where the vanilla twist redbud goes. I now need one for my yard!
So excited for the giant oak! Been suggesting one to you for years ❤️
What kind of soil do you have,it looks like sand clay, Ontario Canada brenda
Oh wouldn't another blue Serbian spruce look beautiful in the spot that needs a blue interest? They have the most prefect tree shape.
Why anyone in their right mind would plant a sweet gum tree is beyond me. I hate those trees with a passion. Dropping all those spiny balls and the roots are horrific. They grow out on top of the ground all over the place. Can't mow anywhere near them. Hubby has to do a lot of weed eating and new tree shoots pop up all over the above ground root system. They are a nightmare. I just hope yours is some kind of variety that doesn't do all this for your sake. 🤷♀️
You two are so funny debating about planting trees high!😂 You've got this, Aaron!💜
Janey, you've done so much! Congratulations!
I miss the flowering plum trees in front. I hope you'll get your trees and shrubs around the perimeter planted this fall. Now is the perfect time to plant them, and you'll be grateful you've given them time to grow tall.
Flowers are more immediate fun, but a beautiful painting doesn't look right until it has a beautiful frame around it!
Ideas:
1. Consider taking out both trees in the long border to keep continuity.
2. Grow some pretty vines on the bunny run.
Thanks so much for explaining how to do tree staking.
Goooooo Aaron 😊
Love the video and I totally adore your kids. One thing, and I’m going to be the old mom here, but watching Benjamin with a stick all the time makes me so nervous. My mother always told me to not let my boys run or play with sticks because her brother lost an eye due to kids playing with sticks. I know you are excellent parents and watch your children closely, but the stick makes me cringe. Otherwise, such sweet children you have.
She’s looking more more like Benjamin too cute…
I ask: Why do they plant the trees so shallowly? Is there a problem on the ground?
Dead trees are called "snags" and they are rich habitat for birds and another critters.
It's so funny when I'm placing new flowers in my garden, I'd say to myself "Where would Laura plant this?" LOL
Beautiful big trees!!! The new place is shaping up!! Benjamin is just too cute- not wanting to sit because it was messy 😂 too cute. God bless your beautiful kids..they are such a joy to see playing and enjoying their amazing childhood ❤️ ♥️
Samantha Grace is so pretty!
Russelia Equisetiformis try to plant this plant I think it's good in your area and this one Night-blooming jasmine is a fantastic plant and the smell in the night it's amazing
🥰🥰🥰 I love your children Laura ❤
I love all the trees!!!!
.Everything looks so beautiful. You sure know where to place the plants and trees. Love to all. Pat
Do you think your children might be interested in building a home on your property when they get older? This property would be perfect for a home with all these trees you are planting
🌸🌻
Anyone else waiting on the 'mulching the new property' video 😂😂 it's only a matter of time before Laura wants to see the dark mulch. The trees look beautiful and those Junipers 😍😍😍
Amazing how much your property has changed in just a few years….yours and Aarons vision is so impressive and I really love watching it develop and evolve.
