  1. How does the paver base hold up during a heavy rain, I imagine it would settle and throw the whole thing off

  2. The metal ring is useless and expensive… Dig the hole deeper, line the bottom with sand and lava rock instead and you're total will come to around $110 all together

  3. What size ring did you purchase from Amazon? I’m trying to build this type of pit over the weekends

  4. Is there any way to do something like this with a pretty heavy slope in the backyard? To level out the pit and seating area.

  5. Man, I am so happy that I found this channel and this video. Watched it and build awesome fire pit, wife approved! Appreciate you being so thorough, man!

  6. I would not have used any rocks underneath. After shoveling out ash from firepits over there years, the rocks would be a painful cleaning process and don't use a shop vac. It's going to pick up the rocks as well as the ash.

  7. Been on YT since 2008, and I've got to say that this is the most useful video I've ever come across, lol. I can't wait to build my own firepit!

  8. I have the same pavers to build a pit and the ring you didn't use that's a solid ring. Do you really need 6 bags of paver base? I currently have 4.

  9. Great job! I was wondering if after building the fire pit, I can insert some sort of propane gas kit? Any recommendations?

  10. Is the metal ring necessary? I'd like the look better without it
E: I meant does the ring have a function

  11. I bought the 80 dollars frame a few months ago i just opened it today to make a patio outside but it doesn’t have screws in the box can you please help me find out what type of screw i need to put it together

  12. Probably should have just done the smokeless first. Based on the average suburban Georgia neighborhood theses days you will have neighbors calling in a forest fire on you regularly. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
