I have a handful of different “wider leaf” type airplants like these that just seem like they’re not as happy as my bulbosa-type tillandsia and I can’t figure out why. I have a Capitata (1st pic), Latifolia, and a bunch of the common kind of bluish airplants (2nd pic, maybe Aeranthos, not sure). I notice they often seem to get perpetually curled outer leaves. This doesn’t seem to change after I dunk/soak them. What is this? Do they need more/less water? Better feed? They all get good light.

I have many bulbosa-type and Ionatha airplants and don’t have any issues with watering them other than the standard occasional brown tip, and I water them all on the same schedule — a once weekly (good) soak.
