That gets me so excited to grow my mini pumpkins and sugar pie pumpkins. We live in Hawaii so Iโm trying for fresh pumpkin for Christmas.
Laura, I wouldnโt be surprised if a little green squash from your greenhouse are the product of cross pollination. Iโve dealt with that this year. Ya get some pretty weird looking squash.
Russell figuring out how to get closer, satisfying his curiosity, and then staring at you so adoringlyโฆcuuuute!
One year, my grandson and I grew a pumpkin that weighed 50 lbs. He was so excited to help pick it. He was 5 at the time, and now he is studying to be a doctor.
Rolet gem squash, maybe?
@Garden Answer Laura, I planted (from seed) acorn squash, well in August I noticed 2 of the plants were looking more like a zucchini but then they grew into a teardrop shape, light tan/yellow tint, 4 to 5 in. tall and had balls/ warts all over them, looks like a gourd of some sort, It doesn't look like something I'de want to eat but am curious if it's edible, Any idea? I purchased the acorn seeds from target.
I wanted to yell: "darlin', take care for those black widows!!!!"๐๐
I found your channel when I watched a tutorial on bow making of all things. After watching a few videos I decided to go back to the beginning and watch all of your videos! I just caught up to present day today. Thank you for the weal to of knowledge that I have gained from these videos! I look forward to going through the seasons with you from now on ๐
Hey guys! Your mystery squash kinda looks like round or globe zucchini, I dont know if they get hard though. Just a thought. โค
Looks like a 8 ball AAS winner
Awwww loved how Samantha loved on the pumpkin ๐ so fun for the kiddos. It's just something that brings a smile to your face when you see all those pumpkins ๐ and gourds so fun. I love decorating with them also. ๐ Thanks for sharing Laura โค
God's blessings to you and the family ๐โค
Itโs always fun to see you pick and show your pumpkin harvest. Can you eat the Jack be little straight up? We donโt have much pumpkin variety here.
Thanks for your daily vlog and updates. Itโs favourite part of my day ๐
Lucky kids having their own pumpkin patch!! ๐๐
4:06 Those could be some "Zappalito" Winter Squashes (Cucurbita Maxima Zapallito Group)
Wow youโll need to hire help to harvest all of them. So cute to have them lined up in a row. Will you rip out the plant once harvested.
What a great harvest ๐ fun to see Samantha Grace and Benjamin get so excited and help, so cute!
I look forward to your pumpkin harvest video each year! Thank you
I saved seeds from last years pumpkin patch visit and from one pumpkin, I have about a dozen Iโm waiting to pick soon! Definitely getting snow ball next year, I love growing pumpkins now lol love the video!
Where is your basket? Iโm so addicted to your channel!! I watched your channel of the flowers, and of course I had to go shopping!! ๐๐
So fun! Fall is here โค
Your children are so beautiful
Laughing at myself cause my volume was accidently muted at the start of the video. Of course, I had to go back & restart with volume on to hear the "Hi guys! How's it going?". That's a very important part of the video apparently ๐ Makes me feel all warm & connected! Have a great weekend to the Garden Answer family!
how do you keep animals from chewing into them or ruining the crop but still keeping it as organic as possible for the earth and your family?
I would carve the weird shaped pumpkin the way it lays sideways. Could be fun.
Creating great memories for those sweet kids!
Wow so green with envy! I grew so many pumpkins last year and did not harvest a single viable specimen due to Pumpkin-fly that lay its eggs in the fruit. Do you not have pumpkinflies in the USA?
I enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins. Gensler Gardens in Illinois grows almost 30 varieties of pumpkins. This year, the new varieties are Grizzly Bear, Lemonade and Popcorn. I am enjoying my beautiful popcorn pumpkin so much!

You must love what you do to be camera shy of playing the piano your garden s say it all beautifully and knowledgeable done!
this is so amazing…I planted pumpkins for my grand and the season was filled with some success and some lessons ๐ but he loves the few we did get…will be picking them soon!
Could it be a round zucchini squash
The pumpkins are still blooming
that is gem squash!! very common in south africa very yummy sweet squash.
Are they all edible
I have two potted basket willows. They grew beautifully this year and I would like to save them for next year. I live in zone 3b ๐จ๐ฆ and we get brutally cold winters. Would you recommend wrapping them with burlap and keeping them in a garage (which is not heated) or should they be wintered indoors? Thanks. Love your channel. โค
actually when I look at it is green and the right size for gem quash but could also be acorn squash
Laura,โthat vine wasnโt amazingly productive, but pretty good.โ Me, โIโm so excited, I got one squash !โ ๐๐คฃ
so you must have had pollinators in your greenhouse
