This yard was getting out of control. But after knocking on the door multiple times over a few days, I thought I would speak with the neighbor. Turns out, the neighbor is a huge fan of my channel! She told me they have never seen anyone come in or out of the house and their realtor said it was vacant. I tried knocking on it one more time when another neighbor yelled from across the street that it was vacant. So, I got it looking amazing again for the neighborhood!

With all the ornaments and bird feeder, I'd suspect it was an elderly persons home that either went to a nursing facility or passed on. Hopefully they aren't still in there or the garage.
Two questions: 1) What do you do with all of the grass and stuff when you are done? 2) How do you decide which shrubs/bushes to cut down and which to leave alone? I am totally addicted to your videos. Keep up the good work, you are making the world a better place one house at a time.

I love what you do. I always wonder though why neighbors do not take the time to mow these vacant properties? I know I would. Helps the value if your house and keeps the unwanted attention a vacant house can sometimes bring. I mow my neighbors lawn all the time just because why notπ€·ββοΈ. I am retired she works full time.

Honestly, Spencer you should be working for a property management company. You seem to discover all these abandoned properties, get them cleaned up and then the property management company could make the housing available to people who want to become home owners. Easily a win-win situation!

It seems to me it's better to have a home occupied by a low income person, then allowing a house to become an eyesore just because no one can afford the grossly inflated price.
