  1. The open mindness to the benefits while still keeping a level of scepticism to your own biases is refreshing and impressive. Great job, those tomatoes look fantastic.

  2. Cool experiment….but….there are many other choices that have more potassium like a potato or 1 cup of Swiss chard. Those are cheap and easy. And nobody likes swiss.chard that makes your throat scratchy! Lol.

  3. 🍌🍅🪴🍌🍅🪴🍌🍅🪴🍌🍅🪴
Yay, so happy to hear your proper Jersey pronunciation of water! 🗣️WOODER! 😂

  4. Banana peels work just as well. Compost separately in a bucket covered in soil. You can keep on adding.❤❤❤

  5. As a gardener, I have so much respect for you when I see how healthy and prolific your tomato plants are. I get a good harvest too, but yours are off the charts!

  6. Don't worry, James and Tuck, next year u'll have a banana tree in that spot, LOL. I have been saving my banana peels, chopping them up and drying them outside on the deck in a pie pan, and adding them to my planting holes and potting mix. Keep Tuckin' on.

  7. Did you happen to grow both Lemon Boy and Lemon Boy Plus this year? If so, what's your opinion about the difference between the two varieties? I'm interested in trying Mountain Magic next year. I like to try new varieties every year.

  8. I have understood that banana peel was always a great addition to compost. Any word on using just the peel instead of the whole banana?

  9. I tried this in containers a few years back, and it worked like a charm as well. I want to stress that the potting soil was lightly refreshed from the previous season and had worms to help with the bananas decomposition.

  10. I had bad bananas like yours.
And I had to plant a Loropetalum. A flowering shrub.
She grew beautifully, and I need to prune it regularly.
I’m not surprised your tomatoes did so well.

  11. I'm always amazed by your garden and how productive it is. Have you installed irrigation at some point? How do you keep your garden watered?

  12. Thank you for sharing. Will try bananas on my plants. I love Tuck❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  13. It would be ideal if you planted the same type of tomato plant close to this one… to compare…. so that the only variable is the banana under the tomato plant.

  14. You are so loved – you and Tuck, that is. i am watching the counter of 👍gom higher and higher as the vid progresses, and i'm smilimg. Those tomatoes look amazing, James – yum!

  15. I’ll sure try that next Spring!! My tomatoes did well this year. Since I’m not canning my neighbors were glad to receive the overflow.

  16. Cool❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🍌cant wait till my sweet 100s ripen, pretty color tomatoes❤❤❤❤

  17. You never see the chickens anymore do you still have them James. Give Tuck a huge hug from me Please ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  18. Hm, now that's an idea with a-peel…sorry. 😔🤪 ❤❤❤for Tuck!!
