If you watch Turtlecreeklane she has 2 beehives in her walls in her house beekeeper came to take them out and she got to keep all that honey. I wonder where your bee hives are? Trees look Great! Walkways look great! Veronica looks great! An out of nowhere thought occurred to me. It would be cute to put up road names on your drive paths. Do you ever have issues with a hawk attempting to catch your koi for a meal? The fish in my backyard pond met their fate when a red tailed hawk found the pond and had the fish as an appetizer over the period of a month. Cleaned them all out!
Nice variety. Since you planted so high, hope the trees will hold up to your high winds.
Elderberry does so well and gets so large, it might be a good one to fill in under the trees on the new property.

Here in coastal NC we are having a home brewed tropical storm. Most extreme hurricanes come off the west coast of Africa and build strength as it crosses the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. And, sometimes they form just off the coast out of a low pressure. It is bringing us lots of much needed rain and cooler (hooray) temps.

I know it’s been a bit since you harvested your wheat but I just saw something you might be interested in. It was on the the channel Maryland Farm & Harvest and they were talking about the sorghum they raise. I have seen it in fields but didn’t realize it could be used and eaten like other grains. It’s often used in bird food mixes also. It’s easy to grow and does well in dry spells. Sounds like another possible fun experiment. 😉
