Radishes are cool season crops that can be planted in the spring and fall in many areas. They like very loose soils so the root/radish easily grows to size. They should NOT be given extra nitrogen as you will get more leaves than radishes.

Please help spread the world of my channel to all the new gardeners you know that are looking for a friendly place to learn. Have questions? Leave them in any comment box and I will get back to you in 24 hours.
