  1. I always hope that you will inspire your neighbors to plant more than just grass.

  2. Your garden is gorgeous. Your garden reminds me of the the english gardens that you can get lost in .An absolutely delightful video especially the very beginning. Your garden reminds me of Monty Don’s garden absolutely spectacular.❤️

  3. "Samatha fell in that hole the other night. Can we fill that in?" She's a tough little cookie! Cracked me up! Love your videos!

  4. I LOVE it when you show the plants that haven't received enough water. I do not have the set up you do and still water by hand. Seeing the ones that do well with less water gives me ideas as to what I can plant.

  5. This summer break, I had the chance to watch your videos every morning with coffee. I have to go back to work in 2 days and I’m going to miss this routine. Thank you, Laura, for these joyful moments. 💜

  6. LOVE THE OPENING. MORE PIECES LIKE THIS PUT INTO INTRO'S OR WHATEVER WOULD BE NICE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR BEAUTY

  7. Watch out Russell, Douglas is stealing your thunder. Lol. The gardens, landscaping, and yard is amazing. The beginning shots reminded me of a Hallmark movie.

  8. I love how Douglas follows you around 😊he’s adorable . Have you ever thought of doing a before and after videos to compare .. that would be amazing .

  9. PLEASE STOP -When something happens whether your 'fault' or not we want to see it. We want to see that we are not the only ones. If we only see the beauty that is skewed. We love to live through you and we know your life is not perfect, nobodies is. We support you and help you to make your visions come true in turn we get comfort, consistent, calming videos. It is not just your knowledge or your gardens, it is you we are here to learn from, to spend time with. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE FAMILY to us. Thank you for being exactly the thing I need consistently. A safe place.

  10. I LOVE the idea of a knot garden off the kitchen door. Do it!!!

Also, the purple fountain grass in the pots are perfection. I love that allee garden!

  11. Prettiest summer ever! Everything looks so healthy and abundant. Can you tell me where you got the new bench under the elderberry? I put in a new garden this year and need a bench for a sitting spot and that one looks like a dandy. Thank you for all you do.

  12. What a lovely tour!! PW plants are tough. I've tried to kill, unintentionally of course, several of them, and now they look beautiful!! I can't wait for part 2!

  13. Everything looks amazing. Douglas swipes because he wants your attention or just to remind you he is there, he doesn’t dislike you ❤

  14. Laura gets stung by a bee and keeps going. I would be ending the video and checking out my foot and putting something on it. 😂

  15. Dude, how the hell are there no weeds in those rocky driveways. Please share.

  16. Talking about the area adjacent to the pond and your ideas for how you want to develop it- I'd love to see your guys version of a stumpery (for those unfamiliar with a stumpery: a "Victorian era horticultural oddity", popularly featured in 19th-century gardens a result of the Romantic Movement which emphasized the beauty of nature), mixed with ferns and moss and interesting tree stumps in that area etc. Perfect spot to have some fun with something like that. There are some very famous stumpery gardens at Highgrove House, and Biddulph Grange for example. I particularly like the one at Arundel Castle.

  17. The creation continues, and warms our hearts. How could it get better after the Hartley? The pond might do that. The plant life is magnificent in so many ways, colors, combinations, food, and now we have fish! Not for eating! But, that pond is quite magnificent and a place to sit and enjoy as your kids continue to thrive. The drone footage was a joy. Thanks Aaron. Inspirational in so many ways.

  18. What a treat!! Thank you for the tour. Can’t wait for part two. I’ve made a note to self about the begonias for next year. Also, supertunia jazzberry performed really well for me in lower sun conditions here in the PNW zone 8b. Many sun loving annuals never thrive for me.

  19. Just what my migraine needed. Something soft to listen to and beautiful to watch. I found your channel over 6yrs ago when a sustained a severe TBI from hitting my head on black ice. You have become an important part of my recovery, as I have used what I learn in my physical therapy. Summer gardening helps me think and process in ways that I had lost. Thank you for all that you do for all of us. You are a treasure.

  20. The fruits of your labor is now a beautiful blanket of color! You are so knowledgeable in identifying the kind of plant and diseases/bugs that harm them. As you may know, there are several Plant Apps available to help the novice gardener with this. My question to you is, what are your thoughts around the accuracy of these apps? Thanks for the beautiful Fall tour!

  21. Beautiful!!! So enjoy the tours!!! Thank you for sharing not only the perfect areas but the not so perfect. Gives me hope 🌻

  22. Don’t let your drive for symmetry hamstring you. The bench looks good offset like that. Think of the view from the bench, not the the view of the bench. It’s nice to have the sense of being tucked away in a garden seat.

  23. Laura is therea historical society or a library in your area, where we can see what your farmhouse looked like before the additions?!?!? I would love to know what it looked like!

  24. The beginning of the video was so cinematic and beautifully filmed. It took my breath away. Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Question – Laura, were you playing the piano?
