  1. No wonder I am feeling the draw to talk to you. Retired FF here with 35 years on the job. Not a Marine but a fellow Firefighter.

There is no such thing as fear, just covering the things we don't want to do😊

  2. The design firm that did your plans and specs should be using names and symbology that are the more common term. I'm a bit surprised they didn't. Architectural Graphic Standards published by Wiley was always a reference I kept handy for this (and other) purposes when doing CAD design work.

A laser level on a tripod can be used but I always used a transit or auto level. Of course with the office full of instruments the government paid for that's easy to say. Id check the accuracy standard of the laser level though. New ones are within 1/8 inch the older ones were double that.

I respect heights. Id be tied into the boom at 20 feet.

Glad it was a steel toe rubber boot day vs a sandal day.

  3. well here is the deal You have old-school American carpenters and they work and a lot of general terms where used but now all these people that came here to the states and use different terms for the same word and yes it is confusing and also depends on what o the country can also mess them words ups so i feel your pain

  4. This is a Sit Com. The two of you could give Archie Bunker a run for the money. I mean this in a very good way.

  5. Y'all get me tickled. I hope your toes are ok. Keep up the great work. As always be safe and God Bless

  6. Ooh, ooh, ooh! We should start a club! I’ve dropped a door on my foot and a week later a girt slammed down on the same foot! I now wear steel toed shoes…. But wouldn’t be opposed to a club! We could call it "Sole Survivors Club"? We are all survivors, bravely navigating the challenges of an injured foot together. Plus, it has a certain charm to it, don't you think? 😅

  7. Thanks for explaining the top plate — method now makes great sense. Good work.

  8. Another good video. Merica baby!!!!! Hope your toes are okay. Grant Rant Over!!!! Thank you for sharing.
