Kinda disappointed about the stone pathway arround the pond….just thought it wouldn't have had such a cut ridged look.
Just thought you would have a more natural look to the sides…blending into the dirt and bermes.
It just looks too harsh in that natural setting.
Like your pond.
Buenos días los felicito por sus nuevo arreglos a su jardín Dios los vendí ja toda la vida y su familia
Hi , I'm jagadeesh from South India , does growing dhalias and savings for it next season is easier for you ???
Laura, I think the flower shed interior wood planks could be pickled. It's such a nice finish when you still want to enjoy all the graining.😊
I had a Japanese Maple in a container and it did okay. One season it didn't look very good at all, I went over and it was filled with ants! They were everywhere – so gross. There were trails of ants going in and out of the container. I flooded the container with water and they scattered. I felt like I was in a sci-fi movie. Flooding it with water did the trick, but the tree didn't make it. I rolled the entire thing to a wooded area of my property and emptied it. Yuk. The container was washed and now has a lovely hydragenia in it. My story of ant hills in plants.
Just my thought on the paved driveway I love the gravel you have you keep it neat looking and it doesn’t appear to throw a lot of dust or get muddy to me that much blacktop would give it more of trying to make it look like a really formal home where the tidy gravel makes it look like a real home or a welcomed home I think I said all that right😂
You can store your sealed jars with the rings if you prefer. After they've cooled remove the rings, wipe the jar down and put the ring back on very loosely. It won't affect the seal if you keep it up, not touching. I usually store without rings, but have done both.
The highlights video is so informative. I can’t imagine not having this on my must see videos on my list of favorites. Thank you for these videos and making me feel grateful to be part of this great community.🥰
A mint green color would look lovely on the inside of the cut flower shed 😍😍😍
To not get emotional when we are wrong is truly a gift. It is easier to retain the correct answer and learn more easily when our identity isn't threatened. For me that is coming easier with age. Thank God!
Laura is definitely getting more like her dad. Lol! Aaron is always so mellow. 🙏
No one cares about us over here hahahahaha
Greater Idaho Movement! 👍
When it comes to taller raised beds, is it a must that you have the soil inside the bed touch the ground? What I mean is, why not build them up with “legs” and make them deep enough to handle the roots during the growing season?
I love having Aaron talk more! The way you interact together is perfect ❤
My understanding is that when the tree roots come to the top, the watering is not done long and less often to get the root to go down to reach for the water.
Love the cooking and canning videos. And LOVE that you do you confidently. Strangers on the internet are often too quick to share their opinion, often as fact.
Love all your videos- planting, canning, making wreaths, etc. Keep on being you. ❤
I love seeing how you can! I have never canned and you maker it look so easy! We grow a huge garden and we only store things in our root cellar or I freeze alot. We have grapevines and I've always given the grapes away. I'm going to order that juice extractor and have a go at it! I'll make that my first attempt at canning. Thanks for the how to's!
I love the channel so much! Your the start of my day for the last 5 yrs. I have a suggestion please. One week someone else should film everything of you all filming and everything that goes into Garden Answer. Your own behind the scenes documentary! Filming editing and all. OH AND BLOOPERS! Lol please!
Panasonic just released a new updated flagship camera G9 Mark II. They have some nice low light lenses for long field distances. Since its sensor is micro four thirds you save some weight on the lens size…and cost. If want best quality, people go with full frame cameras. Think lens selection is best way to choose a camera and if company designs it to accept third party mounts.
Nice to have for projects your building or keeping record of garden through the years.
Hopefully one of you reads this. Can you make the tee shirt & hoodie with the Christmas wreath this year? I would love to buy them for my mom, SIL and of course myself.
You could just give a white wash inside your flower shed…still rustic, not too warm lighting
And thank your lucky stars that you are not on the other side of Oregon where the politics are different, etc….
Just my opinion but I would love to see an interview with your dad. No problem here with whatever he might say. I bet that he'll be a hoot. 😂
Good Sunday Morning! Your personal values shine through without turning your site into a political forum! Thank you for that. The lack of drama is refreshing. You and Aaron are so ‘diplomatic’ with strong comments and do not knee jerk react. You just respond and answer the question! Kudos to you both. The podcast is one of my happy places❤
In the video in which you made the grape juice has inspired me to ask for that juicer for Christmas. I have made grape juice by cleaning, taking the grapes off the stems, heating them and running them through a cheesecloth overnight in the sink and what a pain, so I love the juicer.
No opinions? By example you promote great family values through interactions with children, extended members, and spouses. Also, through your actions, you show respect and kindness with people, with donations, with community projects, and other. Also, just through your unconscious daily routine, you show what is important to your life — religion, family, time with children, applauding fellow gardeners, marriage…
Yep, your view points are both obvious and welcomed. So refreshing to see these values.
For years we had a gravel driveway with no problems. Then we paved it. Every time that we had a downpour rain after that we had flooding issues.
I heard freeze dried figs are really good. I haven't tried them yet but would love to try a pack. A lot of people freeze dry their vegetables to reconstitue and have them for winter. Mrs. Cog Hill Farm(on You Tube) freeze dries collards and said they are wonderful reconstituted. She is not big on canning and freeze dryed products take up less storage space. Mrs. Cog Hill Farm is her new channel but Cog Hill Farm has been around for a about 7 years. They have a new kids channel teaching kids about their Farm animals (which are all pets) and their emu. It is called Cog Hill Kids
Ants tend not to do damage but the other bugs they farm do.
Laura if it makes you feel better I once got stung on the backside while sitting in stop and go traffic going through Chicago. Hard to imagine where the nest was in the middle of the concrete jungle
I tell my husband I really hate our John Deer tractor because of the fumes I want a gas one. The fumes literally make me liteheaded coughing and stinky. I guess I'm not a true farmer. 😢
Is that a real bug or a painted bug on your mug??? 😮
❤
I was watching some old videos. Did you ever plant that blue wheat?
Hello👋
Good morning ☀️ wondering if u have tried the Hoselink solar lights?
Great recap!
Good morning! Love your channel❤❤❤ I was thinking you could build the waist high bed with a floor in it 1-2 feet deep. With drainage holes of coarse🍓🍓🍓
The yellow citrus squeezer is meant for lemons and the green one is meant for limes.
Good Morning Laura n Aaron love the recap video its a great way to start the day while getting ready for church
