About us,

We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.

The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.

Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

    I'd bet looking back at this footage brings back memories of every aching back, crushed finger, imbedded boulder, and stubborn root over the couple of years. But overlaid on that negativity, what a positive feeling of accomplishment it must give you too! Do you realize how amazing all of you, Ash, Terry and Tracy and friends and family are?     I was taught as a child that nothing grows on trees if you want it go get it ,and when you do get it it’s the result of hard work. Have been told many times your lucky that word has always made me mad. I no that the way in which you all work has resulted in the chateau and all the hours of hard work that has come to this point in your lives. The fact you love what your doing makes no difference. Congratulations to you all and I hope that you get the pride for your achievements. If as I am sure you are proud just imagine how it’s going to feel one more year down the road. Sometimes we don’t see immediately the results of Many hard hours work fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, and now that picture is emerging. Brilliant.remember keep the dream ,hard work ,and see the bigger picture emerged.

    Fabulous hard work you’ve come so far, it will look stunning and befitting for a chateau the gardens when complete as per your plans. You will need a second mortgage to buy all the plants, it will be surprising how many plants you will actually need. But simply perfection when completed

    Wow, love the progress! I'm in the US and was always told not to plant anything within 4 feet of a foundation or wall because the root system will infiltrate even solid poured concrete. Not to mention the composition (lime etc) of concrete leaching into soil and eventually changing the ph of soil. Do you all not have this problem?
