How to grow lots of herbs at home.
Are you struggling to grow herbs? Think Mediterranean. Most herbs like moderately warm temperatures, not extreme heat like above 90F. They also prefer to grow in drier soils as they are easily susceptible to root rot. I found that when I grow herbs in containers or even better, grow bags, they thrive and survive much longer in my garden. A lot of herbs are actually perennial. I just struggle getting them to survive the intense heat and daily rains that I get in my Florida garden during the summer.
