    Ask your neighbor if they have a farm jack. A very helpful tool for situations like yours.

    I get poison ivy just by looking at a plant so I bought this product called Farmers defense gloves to help protect my arms without wearing heavy clothing over my arms. They are lightweight and cover your arms from your fingers up over your elbows. They are made with recycled materials with moisture wicking qualities. This might be a product that you could wear when pulling out your shrubs or trimming your boxwoods to protect your arms. Don’t know if someone has suggested this product to you in the past, but I love them.
