Black gold! I used to have a worm bin and the tea was fantastic for tomatoes using 10:1 mixture.
So the perennial weeds won't be a nuisance in a compost pile if you drown them first and let the worms have a go at them, Terry?

I could use a couple of those wheely bins, mine's only half that size, mite have to stump up for some blue barrels, managed to get 3 gal comfrey leechate this yr, could use 3 times that, got 20 blocking 14 rooted up to expand tho

Hi terry we are hoping to harvest or first ever woodchip for compost next year .
My weed steeping bucket (which was completely full and extremely heavy) was blown over in a big wind storm overnight, knocking the lid off and spilling the contents. Very unpleasant 😂 Sadly my phacelia patch was completely flattened by the wind and will need to be cut all the way back – so I might use that to make a new green steeping bucket (and put it somewhere that it can't blow over!)
