The start of Autumn luckily doesn’t mean the end of colour in our gardens or allotment plots and I show you some beautiful flowers that will last right throughout autumn.
I reveal some big plans to make my plot 100% No Dig…..plus my plans for the polytunnel over winter, where I will be growing brassicas
There’s so much to harvest still…..and crops are coming thick and fast! I harvest my sweetcorn (Variety : Incredible F1) and I am super impressed….fantastic quality cobs and no pest damage….great yield too…..25 cobs from 12 plants….I am happy with that!

Your back garden is amazing at all times of the year. I have a pale pink Japanese anemone gifted from a friend 30+ years ago. My turtleheads are firing up which is a sure sign of fall… but I am totally in denial. The pond area and dahlias looks lush. The corn is fabulous. I so want to try that but there’s no way I would harvest before the squirrels. That poly tunnel is going to be an absolute joy this winter.
