“How much should I water my plant?” It’s the million dollar question, y’all. I wish it were a simple one to answer, but the fact is, there just isn’t a one-size-fits-all method for houseplant watering. There are so many variables to consider! Your home’s conditions (e.g. lighting, humidity), pot size, soil type, plant variety… these factors all play a part in determining how much water a houseplant needs.
If you struggle with how much – and how often – to water your indoor plants, this video is for you! No matter what your watering methods may be, we’re always looking for the most effective way to water indoor plants. I’ll show you my own indoor plant care strategy, including exactly how I water in my own home on houseplants like these:
epipremnum, philodendron, variegated monstera, aglaeonema, cactus, pothos, snake plant, echeveria, scindapsus, monstera ‘Peru’, sedum, zz plant, and African violets.
*Watering & Feeding Frequency:* I water most of the plants bi-weekly, and I fertilize once a month. Most plants receive a fair amount of indirect light and receive misting on occasion. Having a drain tray under all the pots will help with clean up and make the water usable to the roots of the plant.

My pro tip is add water when they look like they are on their last leg. And then only buy plants that can survive that type of torment. 😂 Side note: Pepe is the cutest and you should put some kind of cute planter on your desk. Like a lamb or something.
