  1. I agree About crates I don’t believe in them and a cat or dog should be free to roam around Zoe looks really cute 🥰

  2. Zoe is soooo cute. You have a great garden. Gary did a lot of work with those wood chips Peace and Blessings.

  3. chickens and guineas LOVE horn worms! take a container–tin cans will do, and put them in that to carry and toss them to your hens.

  4. Zoe is a sweety.
I just opened my first homegrown watermelon. It was small and had no brown tendril. It was almost getting overripe, but it was good.
We had probably at least a month of triple digits feels like temperatures in North Central Florida. I had the plants too close together because I accidentally killed some starter uplants and didn't want to thin what I had left.
I used wire shelves, which someone had thrown away, and attached them to green stakes that are inserted into irrigation tubing (holsters) and held in place by zip ties.

  5. Robbie–I wish I can just DO IT! I live near San Antonio, TX and right now we're still dealing with 100 plus temps, but it's slowly getting cooler…SLOWLY. I love how you just put plants together, and if it works GREAT! If it doesn't, that's the way it goes. I want to get into that way of thinking, but I'm always hearing DON'T PLANT AT THIS TIME, or YOUR SOIL NEEDS THIS AMT OF whatever in it or else nothing will grow in it. I just want to grow stuff without getting caught up in the science of it. How do you just DO IT?
