I love these updates especially your honestly about the good, the bad and the ugly. What works, what doesn't. It helps us too!! Aaron, thank you for the update on "your" trees!! Note to you Aaron …"we" are invested in your tree forest too! I've noticed the great volume in rain this year has had a big plus on our plants/trees too.
❤😊 First and foremost what a gift Beauties Lov all Ur Growth, Changing and learning, Thank U ❤😊 Lov All
I had 3-4 feet tall box woods that were so totally out of control and I severely cut them back to 2 feet high and they were ugly for a while, but they rebounded and look great now.
Russell Is Your Cat 🐈 👩🌾 He's got your Back 🐈
Oh my word …🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼..
I was walking away for a sec when I heard Aaron jump in about his trees! I came running back 😂
Super informative and beautiful as always!
Love these updates!
Yay! I'm so glad that your sprinter boxwoods rebounded because my 3 year old sprinter boxwoods were hit hard by spider mites this year, and this gives me hope. I released predatory mites a bit later than I should have, and now that the temps are cooling down in the Portland area, I'll trim them soon. Fingers crossed that they will flush out into a nice hedge next year.
Everything is coming along sooo nicely. ❤❤Great job Aaron. The trees are looking fabulous. I understand what your saying about the trees. We my be moving in the near future and I’d like to take my trees with us.
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Arron waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. just wwwwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooow
Everything is looking so wonderful! I don't recall but did you start the Zinnias in the greenhouse or direct sow them? They are glorious! Aaron, you absolutely have created a bond with them, and they would probably wither away if you left them. I love the world you guys have created for your family.
So with such a heavy infestation of spider mites last year, are you inspecting more this year to avoid the same problem? And how will you handle it if they return? I’m thinking you said there was a predatory mite that would do the job instead of spraying? Also, all of us gardeners understand bonding with our trees or plants. I love that Aaron feels the same about his trees.
Another awesome video! Thanks for the update. BTW, I recently googled How and when to store gladiolus corms and one of your oldies popped up. Maybe one of your first, Laura?! Wow! You’ve come a long way, baby!😂❤
Looking beautiful guys!!!
We need a grass maintenance/update video from Aaron on ongoing basis.
You turned the desert into a paradise! Great job to you Laura and everyone involved! Thank you for the inspiration 🌸
I like the coleus blooms because the hummingbirds like them❤
Aaron : A+++ on presenting ! 🌳🌲🌳 Really good.
Need to put up a aerial picture of when you first bought the house and property to now what you have I think it would be awesome! and the trees are beautiful I thought oh boy, it’s gonna take a while to get those to grow but whatever Aaron you’re feeding them. They’re happy happy trees
Laura, I know there’s some plants that have give you grief and for other gardeners it be nice to see the ones that don’t make it. There are certain types of plants I love but I can’t get them to grow.
Great to see Aaron in front of the camera. He's a natural!
I like this little update and love that Aaron has now bonded with the trees and couldn't leave now. It always made me sad when you would talk about moving. Between the beautiful trees, pond and Hartley, you'd have to drag me away.
The Autumn Blaze Maples can definitely make it in zone 3! 😊
Don’t move! Your tree babies Aaron are super. Shoot a fall video too!
Aaron's trees do look beautiful!
Those trees are his baby!
On your boxwoods, if you had to replace them, which variety would you have used? I know you’ve said before, but I don’t recall. Thanks.
Nice having Aaron on! Stay put! Grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side. Enjoy what you've built and grown.
Wow that KING TUT is so glorious 💖 AND magical ✨️
Amazing progress from the time you first bought the property !!! Oh my goodness …what eyes for landscaping you both have had!! ❤❤
Excellent video. Have Aaron talk more about the trees and lawn. Those begonias are beautiful. I bought some from proven winners and they all died. So sad.
Aaron your trees look beautiful
Thank you for this tour, it is so nice to see how things have progressed. And I am with Aaron, the first years after planting your trees and shrubs, baby them, fertilize and water them and leave their roots alone. You'll have better results and plants that are strong enough to survive.
As almost everyone else has said, it was great to see Aaron give his update on his trees! Couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the lawn is too. Both of you are doing great work on your property, congratulations!
Hi Laura and Aaron! Since your weather has been not as stifling hot and a whole lot rainier, will you please give us a tour of all the Hostas please and thank you 😊
No. 6 should be Aarons beautiful lawn.
Your garden isn't the only thing that has transformed. I remember when Aaron want to talk behind the camera without a mic and he's giving a presentation on his beautiful trees. Awesome!😃
Loved the updates! Kudos for turning things around with boxwoods! Loved seeing Aaron highlight his trees! You are a great team!
Wow, great updates! Those begonias and zinnias caught my eye. When did you plant the tall zinnias. Great job on the tree Aaron!
Great video! I was happy to see that your Boxwoods are bouncing back! On a really scary note, I live in WNY on Lake Ontario. My little town is a "hot spot" for Box Tree Moth and all my boxwoods have been devastated! If you are unaware of what this Moth is/ does, look it up. I was caught completely unaware. My 18 year old boxwoods have been completely eaten, in what seemed like over night. The state has put our county and the 2 counties next to us on quarantine. I am scrambling to see if I can save any of my shrubs. There are some sprays that can be used but very carefully and they are not safe for pollinators ,so I am weighing my options. I have watched a ton of Youtube videos from gardeners in England, they have been dealing with this moth for 5 years and not with great success. I'm feeling very depressed as I have many boxwoods and we may lose them all.
Tut an col brick circle looks like a giant cake in front of the hartly…perfection❤
Aaron, I know exactly how you feel about the trees.
Laura in my flower container there was another plant growing ..it is A Wild Peanut is a wild herb,
Arachis Pinto duranensis Google it of course ..Have you heard of this 😮🤔..Thinking Squirrels 🐿
Your home is amazing. Thank you for sharing with us.
Aarons minions so heart warming..it was nice to see him in front of the camera to
So happy to see Aaron in front of the camera!
I bet those begonias are beautiful at night under the moon!
Great job Aaron! Trees and lawn are looking so amazing and that grass is lush, thick and green! Great for walking in bare foot to get nice and grounded. I appreciated seeing how the white begonias did in shade and sun. Looking for plants that would be cohesive for our familys cemtary plots next year. One end is totall shade the other end full sun and partial in between. We like them to match from end to end. If anyone has ideas for that would appreciate it. Thank you!
Anyone else notice the puppy at 14:43 ish? Laura have you ever thought about turning your cut flower garden into one of those ‘you pick’ gardens where people can come in and just pick a fresh bouquet?
