  1. I love that you said โ€œitโ€™s not the right way to sow seedsโ€, but also realise, that when most people are starting out, they donโ€™t have all the bells and whistles of gardening – so it might be perfect for some! ๐Ÿ˜
    And everyone needs a โ€œJasonโ€!

  2. How wonderful to see you have such a wonderful helping hubby. I love seeing him. Can you please bring him on more. I am so excited that you are loading the zig zag garden. Canโ€™t wait to see what you do.

  3. You two are AWESOME !! Look forward to each new video .. and watching this exciting transformation and your organic transition into country living/gardening. ๐Ÿชด๐Ÿƒ

  4. Every relationship needs balance! I canโ€™t wait to see the raised beds when theyโ€™re finished!

  5. I laughed so hard when you said the plants jumped in your cart I just got off work and made a quick stop for a few items and magically some plants jumped in my cart to I know my husband will be so happy lol ๐Ÿ˜œ jk

  6. Great balance in relationship, great help from Jason. You are make many steps forward. Love the plants

  7. I plant purple fountain grass every year surrounded my by a deep burgundy coleus and i get massive compliments every year yes i repurchase every year so worth it tho im Zone 6b u should see it right now omg its gorgeous

  8. Here's another post you can use without using any concrete. At farm stores buy t-post, don't need the tall posts. You need a T-post driver to pound in the t-posts. It has openings down side where you can use screws and drill it into your wood fence. I spray paint the posts black where I do not was them to show up green or red. T-posts are made to use with barb-wire but I use them for other things also. They also make adapters for top of posts where you can attach bird house on them also.

  9. Are you painting the office ? It would look so good white with maybe black trim ๐Ÿค”

  10. I love the idea of temporary gardens like this. Because you have a big project, and you can grow a lot of plants (even perennials from seed or cuttings for other parts of your garden) in this space until it's time to do that area. Wonderful. ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Linda Dorough Dixon/Mountain Park, Georgia/I have a few comments about the Landscape, home design architect…He was talking very expensive additions to your home.. I agreed with some ideas.. All post along the front of the house should be covered in wood .. I have done this and it saves money -looks fabulous.. I do not remember the dimensions,, possibly 12 inches each side of the post.. a professional will know… I wanted my post to make a statement on the house…They would make your home look very expensive… I also think French doors all across the front would put a finishing touch on the house .. I think we can call this home a hacienda.

  12. I too live in the "country" just outside of Davis and the wind continues to be an issue Our neighbors warned us about it when we first moved in. We thought they were being overly dramatic. They weren't. For example, many 20-30'-tall trees tipped over in winter storms(despite being staked), stacks of cardboaard (with bricks on top) ended up in a field a few acres away, screen porch screens blew out, and newly installed metal roofing ended up in the garden. I hope the wood fence around your place provides at least some windbreak for you. We've learned to make it extra stout when building anything new.

  13. Whew your fence looks brand new from where I stand lol. The fence that separates my property from the neighbors only two sides are mine so I canโ€™t even fix it unless I get permission from the neighbor. So you are lucky itโ€™s your fence! I canโ€™t paint or anything to dress it up. Half is wood and the other is chain link ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

  14. Im doing this same setup, with the the 1 inch irrigation and then from there going to 1/2 inch to my raised beds. Drip Depot has it.

  15. ะ”ะถะตะฝะธ ะบัƒะดะฐ ะฒั‹ ะฟั€ะพะฟะฐะปะธ?

  16. I too thought a few inches of the ground would keep bunnies out NOPE. They hopped right on. 18 inches..
