This would be great to do outside using pressure treated wood.
Here in south Florida, jute rope rots so fast! I would use something synthetic here.
I'm pretty boring. I just use them (planters) for plants… 🙂 They're are some beautiful ideas here though.
I have tried it and it definitely works. You need to do it daily. It takes time, but it turned my hair blonde/brown, no more white hair. It definitely works.

I used those planters from dollar tree last year. They are really cheaply made and did not last the summer.
Did you cut the wood yourself or did you buy the pieces like that if so where did you buy them from
Some of those plastic planters are not heavy duty material. I tried using mine 2 years in a row and they end up not lasting an entire second year.

A soldering iron $10-$15 will work better than your glue gun & will not put a strain on your glue gun or cause any extra plastic chores that you need to deal with or get rid of! (i used to do the hole with a glue gun!)
The first one would look cute with patterns, cut out of it as a lamp, shade, and with a ribbon tied around the top and bottom. Or twine. Maybe even weaving some twine around the top and hanging it up from that.

I love your planter ideas. If you would create a spray paint area with cardboard shields to catch over spray, you would get a better spray, save paint and not pollute the air. Please remind your viewers to do this . A mask will protect you also.
