How did we get here?
After a year of full time travel living the van life, we had to adapt when the world changed. To keep busy we’ve converted our tiny house on wheels into a fully functioning off grid home that has everything we need. Realizing that none of us know how long this new normal will stick around, we made the decision that building a home here was the best decision we could make. We’ve spent the last year doing EVERYTHING involved with coordinating and planning the build ourselves as well as setting up this off grid property to be able to provide us with the the food we’ll need in the future. That led us to needing a place to live while we realized our dream of building a shipping container home. After lots of searching we finally discovered Geodesic Dome’s and it was the perfect fit for us while we took our time with the container home.

Even though things didn't exactly work for Charlie's big 10th birthday, nor for the blueberry patch or pretty much anything else lately LOL…it was a day well spent together with lots of laughs. You wouldn't believe how much we can't fit in these videos because so much is said behind the scenes, hope you didn't mind having a little lunch and learn with us this week 😂

Plant blueberries in early spring or late fall, for cold regions. Get different varieties so they will pollinate. Plant in full sun not under trees. Give good air circulation between plants. They like acidic soil. Good luck.👍🏻

You should really invest in a freeze-drier. So wonderful for storing things like berries that you can just rehydrate.

If you guys like peanut butter and soda crackers, you would love the peanut butter pretzels that they have at Costco, they are to die for you can have them for breakfast lunch or dinner! They are the Perfect Snack perfect👍🏻💯

Buy tahini, garbanzo beans, garlic, olive oil, and add a cup of tahini to a food processor or blender, add everything else and lemon juice and wala, fresh hummus. Or Google the recipe. ❤ you both.
1/3 cup tahini, and I was correct on the ingredients, can add cumin too.
