Care is not simply “keep the soil evenly moist” – it must be connected to light: “given adequate light, keep the soil evenly moist.” Adequate light is “the widest possible view of the sky; 2-3 hours of direct sun is tolerable but you better be extra vigilant in checking the soil moisture and keeping it evenly moist (but even if all the foliage dies back, the roots can still put up new growth if re-moistened)”
