You are doing GREAT!! Way to go!! I love that you’re nice and relaxed. Hooray Jeffery & the bunnies are so cute!! Knowing you, you could just get some more pots and make the zigzag look like a straight line. I know when the flesh out again they will be lovely and you probably won’t need to many pots lol. My sister is moving houses also and we are taking her roses that we planted my other sister and myself for her wedding and transplanting them into self watering pots so she doesn’t have to worry about running around watering plants too much we planted three roses for lavender , as well as some beautiful, blue bearded irises and hauled bunches of succulents over. I have forgotten to water my pretties at my home. My Lisianthus are looking fabulous and my big mix pumpkins are growing bigger yay.
New to this channel so forgive me if this is too personal or has already been addressed but why did you decide to move? I don’t think I could have left that beautiful yard. It’s gorgeous!

Also, just FYI, you might want to be able to do some of the native beautiful Ceonothus. I just watched a video and they talked about how many are in the family it’s like 300 and some of them are trees I think that’s amazing beautiful big blueberry blue trees. They’re also called California lilac, and of course buckwheat and you can have some beautiful pollinators. I love watching the Annie’s annuals site for California natives. She’s got some beautiful ones like the Clarkia, of course some gorgeous varieties of the California poppy as well like cherry colored.

Michael had great ideas and was clear on the idea of doing what you can when you can. Loved his ideas but two I wouldn't personally do was the gazebo and the orchard espalier. That wall is begging for star jasmine!
I kept wondering, "who's Jeffrey, and why is he hanging around when people are trying to move?"🤔…then finally, near the end, we see Jeffrey!!! (Sorry Jeff! You are VERY important 💖.) I'll remember him from now on…🐱

The couches look great! The only thing that drove me nuts with that style was the back cushions move too much and don’t keep their shape for long 😞
Just for awhile, embrace the zigzag planter. I think it could look really good if you covered it in an artful mix of mosaic tiles. I used my dining room and dining table as “command central” and would go through the boxes at a comfortable pace there.

I am moving and they told me they couldn’t move anything living. I had to get a separate U-Haul and move my plants myself 😢. I didn’t know different movers had different rules
