  1. Wild ginger is an invasive species and once you plant it, forget about ever eradicating it. Lily of the Valley is a toxic and invasive, spreads like crazy. Daffodils are also toxic for pets, be careful. Periwinkle is considered HIGHLY invasive, stay clear of it. Now Hosta's are a perfect choice for planting under trees.
