  1. With water that has had vegetables cooked in it, don't tip it down the sink, cool it, and then use it on your garden for the nutrients and trace elements. Waste not, what not

  2. I clicked cause you’re super cute, I stayed for your accent, I liked because of the creative uses of the flower.
    A+

  3. Thanks for the ideas on eating them. I have a chayote/choko plant and all parts are edible. Perhaps this is a future topic?

  4. I probably won't eat it given the reaction I saw…. but I probably would use them as floral decoration to make my home look nice ❤ thanks for sharing 🎉

  5. Another way to eat sunflower is to cook the individual seeds and you can actually open the shell up and eat the seed on the inside and its a very common way to eat sunflower seeds in China!

  6. I can't Express me gratitude for your knowledge on this. Coming from a decade amateur gardener. This will be my very first season I grow food.
    I started with flowers

  7. I'm growing more sunflowers this season , we call it cilantro 🤩 Thanks for sharing your experiences!

  8. I just planted my second batch the other day. Its the res one's though and not sure those are edible …

  9. ✝️🔯😇🐑🕊️🧄🔭🎇👽🌲🤍✝️🦅🇺🇸🍀Holy Psalm 91 Jesus and KathrynMiller say Thankyou for sharing ✝️🤍✝️ Happy Sunny Sunday🤍 could it be sun flower tea sugar when you boil put in tea cup✝️🦅🇺🇸🍀🍀🍀

  10. You can also make tea with the sunflower leaves, which I’ve had it. It is pretty earthy with I like a pretty sunflower taste to it. It goes really nicely with green tea.

  11. I see wild sunflowers here in North Texas, but the flower is not this big!. They grow really tall, but they flower is not huge like this.

  12. Mike Posner and his microgreens! But as far as I've seen, he hasn't had sunflower microgreens yet!

  13. Hey Kristina

Very nice dress, you look great in it. I bet it's very cool to wear with the extreme heat… I just bought one of those clippers just this last weekend. I use it to prune my trees. Getting in a hurry with my left hand, holding on to each branch as I cut them, I'll get a big handful of twigs and leaves as in cutting them off. I guess I occasionally loose track of where all my fingers are located with my stuffed handful . OUCH, thats one sharp clipper. I gave myself two huge cuts, each one bleeding bad. I learned to slow down, but guess what….at the end of the day, my hands were DIRTY😅

  14. Also sunflower ash contains to 24% (!) of potassium + 7% phosphorus +18% calcium + 12% magnesium. You can burn leftovers and get very good fertilizer

  15. Sunflowers are so beautiful, and the seeds are tasty too. Happy to learn more about this plant. Thanks again, kiwi grower!

  16. JSYK, cilantro is the herb leaf of the young plants, coriander is the seed pulp produced later in the same plants life. While they come from the same plant, they are not the same herb/spice. Their flavor profiles are very different and they cannot substitute each other in their use.

It's unfortunate, cilantro taste horrible and overpowering to many people including myself. I'm glad we can generally enjoy coriander in many delicious dishes without those same overpowering effects.

  17. I let my sunflower grow too long to try this, next time I'll grow one to try on the grill like this. At least I'll have the seeds this time around.

  18. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!! And all the extra fascinating info, delving into exactly how our Creator so incredibly creatively put every living, growing plant etc. together!! God bless!!
