  1. The owner had certainl8y let it go over the years but lovely to see it cleared. We used to live in NE near a neigbour with a very very long sloped garden very similar and when they were on holiday they let us go in to keep an eye on it. It evrn had a stream and raspberries we were allowed to eat. It was the dry stone walling there and on the video that is so lovely. (Cut children at the end – look just like my blonde sons when they were little).

  2. Honestly, the cleanup didn't do much for the place. I can't see a huge difference. In fact, the original seemed more beautiful with the moss and ferns. What I would have done is clean up the walkway and trim the bush, that's it. But if your client is happy, good for you. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Miss on steps make them a fall hazard. Also, as pretty as moss is, it cracks and breaks apart stone over time, destroying steps and walls.

  4. This is the second garden restoration video of yours that I've watched and I just can't stand what you do to these beautiful natural spaces. I don't mind your power washing, but the garden videos are heartbreaking. You take everything that's beautiful and magical about a space and get rid of it. This garden was magical and now it looks like shit. I'm glad you're helping people that need it but I would not let you anywhere near my yard! And I very much need the help.
I do not trust landscapers as they seem to only destroy the natural beauty of places. My mother had to hire landscapers after my father died and they ruined the yard, weed whacked the flower beds, mowed down the cherry tree, it was a nightmare and they refused to take any accountability or responsibility. They also refused to stop coming and actually started coming more often and trying to bill my mother for work she didn't even ask for. Way too many people claim to be landscapers but they don't have a clue what they are doing. In America the only qualification for being a landscaper is knowing how to use a lawn mower.

  5. I like your videos but Oh NO! you killed the enchanted walls. I was like "Not the Moss on the walls!!!" Also don't pluck plants on a wall like that. They give it stability. Blow the leaves clean the floors but don't kill the "enchanted" in the garden. 😅

  6. The colors of the stacked stone wall are so pretty after cleaning! What a difference. So much algae mixed in with the moss, too. Yuck. Love it After cleaning! And the paths are clean and safe. People worried about the moss have never experience English weather…plenty of rain, and the problem is not getting moss to grow, its getting it to stop growing!😅

  7. Irgendwie ist dieses Grundstück verzaubert. Aber es brauchte mal eine Erneuerung👍🏻

  8. It’s a beautiful space for whoever is lucky enough to live there! I agree with the others, this one maybe went a little too far. A little overgrowth gives charm and a natural feel. But overall this was great, the steps where there weren’t (visible) steps before! It looks safe and inviting.

  9. Hard one this the walls look good clean but i did like the moss to maybe just have done the steps for safety still a great job what ever we all think

  10. I’ve only just discovered your channel Ben and honestly I love it! I’m disabled and to see someone like you help people in need is just amazing I just wish I had someone like you in my town to help me do my garden and make it more accessible and safer for me to use Keep doing what you do coz you’re a heaven sent legend xx
