Honestly though, if the government ever wanted to make them illegal they could and would. Not saying it's right, just saying it's what would happen. It's what's always happened. As long as the US government exists, we're all going to be slaves to it. The best thing that could happen is the country just goes ahead and collapses.

The other week I was at a restaurant introducing the Goldback to a fellow customer. As we were discussing what could be done with the Goldback another customer introduced himself as a Somali Canadian. He said that he had never heard of the Goldback but believed that it was gold and that it was more valuable than any other currency… He further explained that in his home country the economy had been bad for so long and the inflation so high that they kept their wealth in gold, mostly gold jewelry. He said that he would accept Goldbacks any day of the week.
This is important to note for Americans and Canadians. Backup is necessary and the Goldback is backup. Governments aren't helping the dollar. They are destroying it for power.
