Instead of tossing your sprouted grocery store potatoes, follow along and plant them (as long as the time is right). I’m racing the clock here as potatoes generally need about 3 months to form and our first expected frost is about 10/15 more or less. But fret not, once the potatoes have established I can always bring the pot inside to protect from freezing temperatures if need be which is part of the beauty of growing in containers.
