How To Protect Pineapples While They Ripen On The Plant #pineapple #gardeningtips #homegrown #plants

Do you have critters eating up your pineapples before you harvest? The best idea I have found to protect pineapples while they are ripening up on the plant, is to get cheap mesh trash cans from the dollar store and cover the pineapple with it. Cut a hole in the bottom of the trash can to fit the pineapple over it. Then cover the open top of the trash can with some mesh or chicken wire. Please comment below if you have any ideas on how to protect pineapples.
