Despite a rather drastic haircut at a most inopportune time of year the ‘so good they named it twice’ Centaurea cineraria subsp. cineraria has defied my expectations, grown back & is now flowering (albeit a lot lower than normal) which is kind of nice with the dusky purple Sage.
