This is the maiden voyage with our, new to us, Truant 33 pilot house sailboat S/V Away. We purchased it in June of 2021. And after nearly five years of not being on a boat, we fly from our home in Palmer, Alaska to its home port in Hoonah, Alaska where we relearn sailing and head out to our first anchorage. While at anchor, we explore the beautiful coastline at Jacks cove.
