Sam Thayer’s Field Guide to Edible Wild Plants of Eastern and Central North America is an excellent resource for anyone interested in foraging, wildcrafting, edible forest gardens, or survival (and who knows, we may have to look toward edible wild plants sooner than later). This field guide to edible wild plants has just about everything you could want or need as far as safe plant identification goes. Well-formatted and definitely worth the money!
