Harvesting Potatoes Grown in Grow Bags #potato #garden #growbag #harvest #backyardgarden #gardentips

Here is an update on the progress of the potatoes I planted in grow bags back in March per my “How to Grow Potatoes in Grow Bags” YouTube video tutorial. It is now the end of May, and my potato plants have died back earlier than expected due to early arrival of very hot weather. I was expecting them to die back in June, not right now. This would have given them another full month of growth which would have resulted in a bigger harvest. Anyways, let me show you how easy it is to harvest potatoes out of grow bags. Next, I will be planting sweet potatoes and yacon (earth apple) in these bags. Check out my YouTube channel for the full tutorial on how to grow potatoes in grow bags.

  1. 10000000% agree it's already summer. July and August will be BRUTAL. 😒 This about the size of my harvest as well, but I also planted in March. How do you save them for seed potatoes?
