  1. Thank you Sir, so appreciate what your doing! I am still learning for sure, zone 9-10 is hot and humid right now.

  2. Thank you James for sharing your wisdom. You have taught me so much. Say hi to Tuck for me. ❤🐕

  3. Hearts and a Fan for Tuck! Hey James, I learned that although I have a gardening diary, I have to add some more comments about what worked and didn't work. Would you share yours or an empty schema or template in a future video? I have to share that in my subtropical climate, I grow Perpetual Spinach and I also thought about the French "Roly Poly" carrot as an option for you at this time. Also, like you I have a food forest. Do you find that as your food forest(s) have grown over the years that your microclimate has changed? Stay cool! Cheers!

  4. I was writing down everything you were telling us to plant and I just realized I could save the video and just keep rewinding it❤💯😉tell tuck I said ruff ruff and hi😅 my poocharelli stays inside because he has problems in the heat, love from our family to yours 😃💪

  5. you and tuck are the most inspiring youtubers i've ever met and your videos are so entertaining! keep up the amazing work!

  6. Another great video, thanks for more great ideas on what we can still plant! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ For Tuck!

  7. PLEASE PLEASE post a vid of you in your garden in a normal day. What you do in a normal all day in your amazing garden you have

  8. It is too dang hot! I'm in GA zone 7 I can plant everything you said in Sept My last frost is Nov 3. Thanks for the recommendations on how to get the plants started. I have started some in my basement with grow lights, they can't make it outside, we've been in the 90s with no rain. My corn, tomatoes and beans are finished mainly because of the heat. Okra, flowers and herbs are doing good. I'm going to dig the ground where everything is done and put down some leaf compost and let it sit for a month. I do love my fresh carrots, I recently pulled the last of the spring ones. God Bless you and Tuck!

  9. yeah its been a philly summer this year.. not too bad though .. good amount of rain.. first half was cool.. now next week will be in the 80's so it should be great weather to get outside.. When you think about this heat just compare it to a Winter Blizzard.. because thats what it is .. its the middle of summer hottest part of the year its just like the middle of January… so experience it and enjoy it and when its January 15th you will be praying for a couple of these days.. I know I will .. best wishes to you.. catch ya later

  10. I was told carrots were so hard to germinate in late July. I must have done it right cause i got some sprouts. I've never grown them before so we will see how they are once they get a bit bigger.

  11. I ordered a grow shirt last year and love it. Ordered 2 more this year. Soft, soft cotton!

  12. Carrots have been so tricky for me. I did pelleted seeds this year just recently and they’re coming up.

  13. My fruit and veggie obsessed kid loves this channel so much! I'd love to try and do some planting with him but we have absolutely no sun except in the early morning and nothing seems to grow. He loves gardening with his g-pa though and they watch this channel too. Thanks for the inspiration for their backyard at least. 🍎🥦

  14. Does anyone know what kind of board James used for the carrots? It was quite thick but I couldn't tell what it was.

  15. Miss seeing Tuck, but glad that you're keeping him out of the heat! ❤❤❤ for Tuck! Your garden is beautiful, as always. 😊

  16. You are sooo emotional about gardening, that is amazing 😍 is your wife so pasionate too? 👌

  17. Hey James, does that peas trick work for green beans also? Im just curious if there's a way to get them to sprout earlier. I'd like to get a couple of more harvests before the frost hits if possible…Green beans and bell peppers are my addiction😁

  18. Perfect timing James. Im getting ready to plant my fall garden as well. Thank you for the tips on starting seeds outdoors. I have no room to do that inside as i am in the process of building my house! I need to make a pvc row cover anyway, then i can just lay it on the ground, perfect!!
Question….what do you do to battle pill bugs or rolly polys. They are trying to take out my small beans and cucumbers i just had come up. Ive lost several.
